Life is like a Chess Game !!

Life is like a chess game,
The heart competing with the mind,
The soul competing with the body,
Looking closely enough, its life against life.

Sacrifices, on every move: every time,
 Either you kill yourself or your own-self,
Life is between the black and the white,
The rapid gestures going in-between the time.

Duality the gateway to stage called life,
Every move is the farewell to the next side,
Who gains and who loses remains the final ride,
Life just slides between the fingers, like fireflies.

Life is just like the chess games, with side-less sides !!

Yes, You are definitely right !
But lets toss the coins, the reality as defined as the body and the illusion as defined as the soul. Arent they the positions that exists in-between the lines of the definition we give them.

Everyone, has a vague collection of being something greater than body and the constant search for the seeker of the ultimate brings in this illusive question of AM I BODY or AM I SOUL, as defined, may be spirit, may be something else!

Unfortunately, we have fallen victim to the lie. We are slaves to our bodies. We do what it wants. Sex, violence, hunger is all we care about. No one seeks the deeper pleasures of the soul.

I rather disagree to the point !

Humans are not victims at all !
Humans have free will and choices, the chance of escalation, the forms that can be shaped and sharped to another dimensions, might be physically, intellectually, emotionally or spiritually!

We have Choices!

The problem as i see is that humans things have the problem of ego and possession, it stops us to see the fundamental roots of life !

For Example:

A apple tree Apples !
A mango tree Mangoes !
The Solar System Peoples !
Distinctly,
The Earth LIFES !

Its as it should be, so if u look into the poem, the last line explains that insight into non duality !
THE HAPPENING HAPPENS !!

Heraclitus was a Greek philosopher of Ephesus. He is possibly the first Greek philosopher to explain the unity in all experience. And how change is the only constant in the universe. Equanimity comes from a Latin word æquanimitas, which means to have an even mind. But the concept goes much deeper. Much of all ancient philosophies and religions talk about equanimity. Aequss meaning even, and Animus meaning mind/soul.   Marcus Aurelius, one of the stoic philosopher and an emperor in his book Meditations stated that: When force of circumstance upsets your equanimity, lose no time in recovering your self-control, and do not remain out of tune longer than you can help.
